Townsend Tennessee Restaurants:
Townsend is a much smaller town than Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Townsend does get plenty of tourists as it borders the national park and is the close park entrance to Cades Cove and thus has more restaurants that you would expect for a town of its size.
You will find more home style eating in Townsend with no large chains other than only a few fast food choices.
One of my personal favorites is the Little River Bar-b-q where when the weather is nice you can sit outside and dine by the river in screened comfort and enjoy good Bar-B-Que.
